The first phase of the project has been completed, with the Living Legacy Athletic Center and the Argyros Center for Worship and Performing Arts now open for students at the school. Leading the $17 million raised for the project alongside the Argyros Family Foundation was the Living Legacy Foundation, which offered a grant for the gym.
The new buildings are part of the MSC’s Bright Future campaign, which seeks to update the entire campus to meet the needs of 21st-century students. Each of the projects in the initiative has been funded entirely from donations.
Alongside the gym and auditorium, renovations and new projects have included two new kindergarten classrooms and six new Mariners Institute of the Arts classrooms. Donations for this work have come from school alumni and family of many of the students.
